HARRISBURG, PA – December 9, 2024
The Rose Lehrman Arts Center was alight with holiday spirit this past Sunday as Parkside Harmony and Parkside Melody took the stage for their highly anticipated holiday show, A Season of Lights. The sold-out event brought together nearly 400 audience members for an unforgettable 75-minute celebration of music, community, and joy.
On March 10th, Parkside Harmony had the distinct pleasure of hosting the internationally acclaimed quartet, Signature, at local schools for an entire day. This unique event, made possible by a generous grant from The Association of International Champions (AIC) in partnership with Harmony Foundation International, aimed to share the joys of barbershop music and the positive impact of lifelong singing with students.
Signature, hailing from Miami, Florida, are not just renowned performers but also International Quartet Champions. Their passion for barbershop music and their commitment to fostering the next generation of singers made them the perfect ambassadors for this outreach initiative.
Parkside Harmony finished out 2019 with a performance on the legendary Carnegie Hall stage in NYC.
It was an HONOR and a THRILL to open for the Pentatonix Christmas Tour at Giant Center. Thank you to our friends at Hershey Entertainment, Live Nation Concerts, and a SOLD-OUT Hershey crowd!
Honored, thrilled and SO very proud to represent Hershey, Pennsylvania at the 2018 International Convention in Orlando, FL - bringing home 3rd place bronze medals! Thankful for friends and family, providing endless support and encouragement on this wonderful journey!
A huge thanks to the Barbershop Harmony Society's Seneca Land District, and their Chautauqua Serenade - show committee for giving us such a special opportunity take our show on the road last weekend... getting to perform in a legendary venue, sharing our music alongside special guests and great friends!
We are so grateful to Barb Russo Guarente & the wonderful staff at the Friendship Center/ Lower Paxton Township Parks & Recreation for hosting us last night! Due to inclement weather our 'Concert in the Park' was held inside, but the crowds still came out to support a fun night of harmony & community (many sporting their own Parkside Harmony gear)! In Arms - kicking off the week by earning 5th Place Bronze Medals in
the International Youth Contest... Pratt Street Power - last year's
Youth Champs, moving on to the open division finishing 18th overall
and earning the Dealer's Choice Award (for the highest placing novice
quartet)... Route 1 - last year's Dealer's Choice winners, going on
this year to place 15th in the world... and Throwback - wrapping up
the week with 4th Place Bronze Medals! We celebrate your many
successes, and thank you for ALL your contributions to Parkside
Harmony!
On July 7th, just after earning 5th place Bronze Medals at the
Barbershop Harmony Society's 2017 International Chorus Contest, the
Parkside Harmony family walked down 'the Strip' to Hershey's Chocolate
World Las Vegas to celebrate, grab a photo op, and share a few tunes!
