Douglas Beach
Douglas Beach is a native of Bel Air, Maryland, just thirty minutes north of Baltimore city. His music training began in the Maryland Conservatory of Music's director, Dr Duke Thompson. Douglas graduated from Messiah College in 2017, where he studied piano and composition. During his undergrad, he worked with the Messiah College Concert Choir under the direction of Linda Tedford, and formed a Barbershop Quartet known on campus as "The Grantham Gents. Upon graduating, Douglas assumed the role of Director of Music at St John's Hain's United Church of Christ in Wernersville. He continues to be involved in the community musically, working as a staff pianist for Franklin & Marshall, Millersville University, and Lancaster Bible College. A baritone by choice, Douglas is thrilled to be a part of the excellent leadership team of Parkside Harmony, and looks forward to the music to come.
