Parkside Harmony has been very fortunate to enjoy several guest clinicians this year in a few different areas of focus:  Richard Lewellen in singing, Aaron Dale in music, and David McEachern in performance.  We are proud to have these opportunities to collaborate with some of the best in the business, helping us to connect with our music, our audiences, and each other!

Parkside Harmony is proud to have partnered with the Salvation Army - Harrisburg Capital City Region to help add some extra 'harmony' to the iconic Red Kettles this holiday season!  We'll be singing some of our favorites and ringing those famous bells in support of the local programs of the Salvation Army.

Parkside Harmony is back home from the Mid-Atlantic District fall convention in Ocean City, MD, honored to have earned a 3rd Place finish and the Most Improved Chorus award!  Our score also qualifies us to compete in the Barbershop Harmony Society International Convention - July 2016 in Nashville, TN!

We were also well represented in the quartet contest - Congratulations to: Half & Half (M-AD Mixed Harmony Champions), Atlantic Harmonies (12th Place), Hershey Transit Co. (9th Place Finalist), Brothers In Arms (3rd Place Finalist, also earning Most Improved and Novice awards!), and Route 1 - M-AD 1st Place District Champions!

We are just so thankful to everyone who helped make this weekend's Western Division convention such a memorable one! Special recognition goes to all our Chapter quartets who represented us so well, including 'Route 1' who won the Divisional Championship and 'Brothers In Arms' who earned the Novice Award. Thank You to the Mid-Atlantic District Events Team and Host Chapter Bryn Mawr, PA for the hospitality, and to that one-of-a-kind MAD convention audience for making us feel so welcome... We are honored to be your 2015 Western Division Champions, and look forward to representing you in the fall District Convention in Ocean City, MD!

Thank you to our dear friend Linda Tedford and the Messiah College Department of Music for inviting us to take part in their Spring Choral Concert.  We were thrilled to join the Women's Ensemble, Chamber Singers and Men's Chorus in the beautiful Parmer Hall in the High Center for Worship and Performing Arts.  We couldn't think of a better way to make our public debut than by sharing the stage with these talented students artists, and were so grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the Men's Chorus on a few combined numbers.  The future of vocal music is certainly bright here in Central PA!
