'Vocal Spectrum' for creating so many gold medal moments for our
audiences!
We are so proud of Parkside Harmony's own Brad Brooks and his quartet 'Party of Five' for winning the Barbershop Harmony Society's Senior Quartet Championship at last week's Midwinter Convention, bringing it back to Hershey, PA and the Mid-Atlantic District!
We were honored to once again take part in The Salvation Army -
Harrisburg Capital City Region's annual Red Kettle Kick-off!
Welcoming in the Season with many holiday favorites, including a
special performance of 'God Bless America' in honor of Veterans Day.
We hope you'll continue to keep an eye (and ear!) out for those iconic
Red Kettles and bells in your area over the next several weeks, and
help support The Salvation Army to 'Do The Most Good'
It was a special night tonight at Linglestown Life for our "One For Wyatt" event ... Along with our brothers in Route 1 (Quartet), we celebrated our friend Wyatt - while raising awareness and support for Fanconi Anemia Research Fund!
Home from this weekend's Mid-Atlantic District convention with full hearts... So incredibly thankful for the support, encouragement and love from our entire M-AD family - We are beyond thrilled to be your Chorus Champions, and honored to represent you all at the International Convention next July 4th in Las Vegas, NV!
We are so appreciative to both the District Events Team and the Lancaster Chapter for hosting such a memorable convention, and to that second-to-none M-AD audience for inspiring every performer to give their all!
July 8, 2016: After qualifying to represent both Hershey, PA and the Mid-Atlantic District at the 2016 Barbershop Harmony Society's International Convention in Nashville, TN, Parkside Harmony was absolutely thrilled to perform in front of an audience of over 7,000 convention attendees in the Bridgestone Arena in downtown Music City, USA - finishing as 8th place finalists!
What a terrific experience performing for over 1,200 Sweet Adelines at their Region 19 convention at the Hershey Lodge! Thanks to the Region's Management Team for the invitation, to the many inspirational performances you provided to us throughout the weekend, and to the Greater Harrisburg Chorus for hosting such an outstanding event... We're thankful for this partnership, and looking forward to future opportunities to collaborate!
Parkside Harmony has been very fortunate to enjoy several guest clinicians this year in a few different areas of focus: Richard Lewellen in singing, Aaron Dale in music, and David McEachern in performance. We are proud to have these opportunities to collaborate with some of the best in the business, helping us to connect with our music, our audiences, and each other!
Thanks to ALL who helped make Sunday's 'Celebration Concert' such a memorable one! From our special guest artists (GQ, Route 1, Warehouse Flats and Hershey Transit Co.) to the spirited sellout crowd... We are so moved by your support&encouragement, and thrilled we could celebrate our 1st anniversary together with YOU!
